On June 17, 2025, the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research successfully organized the webinar “From Idea to Business: The Journey of a Woman Entrepreneur”, targeting millennial women aspiring to start their own businesses in the industrial sector.

The webinar aimed to inspire and empower women to take the first step into entrepreneurship, delivering a powerful message that success is attainable with a clear vision, the right strategy, and appropriate support. Through inspiring discussions and practical advice, participants gained insight into the challenges and opportunities that come with launching a business in an industrial context.

Main topics of the webinar:

  • Readiness for the entrepreneurial journey: Identifying the essential needs when starting a business – such as financial resources, appropriate tools and instruments, legal framework, and informed decision-making. Participants received valuable guidance on how to plan, evaluate, and begin their entrepreneurial journey with confidence. 
  • The power of success stories: Real-life examples of women leaders who have successfully built their own businesses, demonstrating that women can be agents of change in the industry.
  • Systemic support and mentorship: Emphasis was placed on the importance of mentorship, access to information, financing, and institutional support as a foundation for stable growth and the development of women’s entrepreneurship.

About the EMPOWERING Project

EMPOWERING – Empowering M-Women in Industry focuses on millennial women (born between 1980 and 1995) working in manufacturing industries, aiming to support their professional education, skill development, and career advancement. The mission extends beyond individual empowerment to fostering European collaboration and networking, which are essential for success in today’s world.

A distinctive feature of EMPOWERING is its commitment to inclusivity and broad accessibility. All project results and resources are available in seven languages (English, French, Macedonian, Italian, Polish, Norwegian, and Ukrainian) to ensure a wide range of participants can benefit. This multilingual approach significantly expands the project’s impact, catering to women from diverse linguistic backgrounds and promoting a more inclusive environment. The project is an innovative initiative led by a consortium of five experienced European organizations, each bringing unique expertise in adult education, women’s empowerment, and new technologies: IPRA/MEDEF, France; Fundacja Digital Creators, Poland; Confindustria Toscana Servizi, Italy; European Centre for Women and Technology, Norway; Foundation for Management and industrial research, Macedonia.
