Webinar – Best practices in STE(A)M and future opportunities in cybersecurity
As part of the STREAM IT project, we are pleased to invite you to the third webinar in the National Inspirational Hub (NIH) series: Best practices in STE(A)M and future opportunities in cybersecurity. This session is designed for educational and research institutions (primary, secondary, and higher education), non-governmental organizations, and all girls and young women with an interest in STE(A)M.
The webinar will showcase proven best practices from STE(A)M and cybersecurity, along with strategies to attract and retain girls in these fields. It will highlight the range of career opportunities in cybersecurity, brought to life through personal stories and inspiring success cases from the industry. The discussion will also address the gender gap in STE(A)M and cybersecurity, presenting concrete steps to overcome it and ensure a more inclusive environment in education and career development.

ST(R)E(A)M IT aims to initiate change about the persisting gender inequalities in STEM education, research, and innovation to contribute to the implementation of the ‘The European Manifesto for gender-inclusive STE(A)M education and careers.’ The project aims to overcome the barriers and challenges faced by underrepresented groups in STEM. It focuses on developing innovative, gender- and diversity-inclusive tools for educating young people, particularly young girls. Additionally, the project seeks to mobilize stakeholders from various sectors of STEM education and the R&I ecosystem to create sustainable networks that provide ongoing support to STEM education providers.
