STEM Discovery Lab successfully concluded – We’ve created future STEM leaders!

On February 23, 2026, at the premises of Startup Club Skopje, we concluded an inspiring and transformative journey – the final event of the STEM Discovery Lab, marked by the ceremonial awarding of certificates to the participants. The event began with the arrival and registration of attendees, followed by the official opening and welcome remarks from the STEM Discovery Lab team, the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research, and Startup Club Skopje.

During the segment “STEM Discovery Lab – A Journey Through the Program,” we reflected on all the workshops, weekend sessions, mentorship activities, and inspiring moments that shaped the program. Through photos and a short presentation, we shared the story of growth, learning, and collaboration.

A particularly inspiring highlight was the presentation of the final projects, where the teams introduced the problems they had identified, the solutions they developed, and the knowledge they gained throughout the process. The certificate awarding ceremony was a symbolic yet powerful moment – a recognition of the effort, curiosity, courage, and dedication of each participant.

The event continued with remarks and words of appreciation from mentors, trainers, and partner organizations, including FEIT, Women in Tech Macedonia, and other collaborators, expressing sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the program’s success.

Once again, STEM Discovery Lab demonstrated that when young girls are given space, support, and the right mentors, they create innovative solutions, think critically, and confidently move toward their future in STEM.

This program was implemented within the framework of the project STREAM IT – Streaming Girls and Women into STEAM Education, Innovation and Research. We extend our gratitude to all participants, mentors, partners, and supporters who were part of this journey.
