On November 21, 2024, the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research successfully organized the webinar titled “How to Improve Employability and Advancement of Women in Industry.” The online event attracted participants from diverse sectors, including representatives from industry, academia, civil society, and millennial women working in the industrial sector.

The webinar focused on the key challenges and opportunities for increasing the representation of women in the industrial sector while offering practical solutions for their professional advancement.

About the EMPOWERING Project

EMPOWERING – Empowering M-Women in Industry focuses on millennial women (born between 1980 and 1995) working in manufacturing industries, aiming to support their professional education, skill development, and career advancement. The mission extends beyond individual empowerment to fostering European collaboration and networking, which are essential for success in today’s world.

A distinctive feature of EMPOWERING is its commitment to inclusivity and broad accessibility. All project results and resources are available in seven languages (English, French, Macedonian, Italian, Polish, Norwegian, and Ukrainian) to ensure a wide range of participants can benefit. This multilingual approach significantly expands the project’s impact, catering to women from diverse linguistic backgrounds and promoting a more inclusive environment.

The project is an innovative initiative led by a consortium of five experienced European organizations, each bringing unique expertise in adult education, women’s empowerment, and new technologies: IPRA/MEDEF, France; Fundacja Digital Creators, Poland; Confindustria Toscana Servizi, Italy; European Centre for Women and Technology, Norway; Foundation for Management and industrial research, Macedonia.
