Foundation for Management and Industrial Research Partner in the UnicornQuest Project part of INTERREG EUROPE

The Foundation for Management and Industrial Research (MIR) is proud to announce its role as one of the 13 esteemed partners (from Macedonia, Portugal, Slovakia, Ireland, Romania, Netherlands, Italy, Latvia, Hungary, France and Serbia) in the pioneering UnicornQuest project which started in March 2024. This initiative, supported by Interreg Europe, aims to foster innovation, growth, and competitiveness across Europe by empowering regional ecosystems to produce more unicorns – start-ups.

UnicornQuest is a ground breaking project designed to transform the landscape of regional development by focusing on the growth and sustainability of high-potential start-ups. By leveraging collaborative efforts, the project will provide tailored support, enhance policy frameworks, and share best practices across different regions to stimulate entrepreneurial ecosystems.

As a dedicated partner, the Foundation for Management and Industrial Research will contribute its extensive expertise in industrial research and management, playing a crucial role in the project’s implementation and success. Our involvement will include:

• Providing Expertise: Offering insights and knowledge from our extensive experience in supporting start-ups and fostering innovation.
• Regional Development: Assisting in the creation and enhancement of regional policies that support the growth of high-potential start-ups.
• Collaboration and Networking: Facilitating connections between regional stakeholders, policymakers, and entrepreneurs to create a robust network of support for start-ups.
• Knowledge Sharing: Participating in workshops, seminars, and other activities aimed at sharing best practices and successful strategies for nurturing unicorns.
