EmpoweRING M – Women in Industry: Coaching Program Kickoff
On May 12, 2025, the initial session of the Empowering M-Women in Industry coaching program was held at Public Room in Skopje. This initiative is part of the European EMPOWERING project, aimed at supporting millennial women working in the manufacturing sector.

The session marked the official start of a multi-month program focused on professional development, skill-building, and career advancement, while also promoting European collaboration and networking as key drivers of success.
The event began with introductions and a conversation about participants’ goals and expectations. From there, the program moved into a series of dynamic and interactive sessions, with participants engaging in discussions, sharing insights, and reflecting on real-life challenges from their work environments.
One of the key themes explored was how women can lead with authenticity—using their unique strengths and perspectives as tools for effective team and project leadership. The group discussed the shift from traditional to modern leadership styles and how women are helping reshape workplace culture. Participants opened up about personal leadership challenges and strategies for building credibility while staying true to their values.
Another focus was emotional intelligence—developing the ability to recognize, understand, and manage both personal emotions and those of others. In industries known for rigid structures, the group explored the importance of empathy, self-regulation, and effective communication in fostering healthier, more productive workplaces.

The second session dove into conflict resolution. Participants learned practical tools for asserting themselves clearly and confidently. Using real-world examples from the industry, they examined different approaches to managing disagreements and improving team dynamics.

The day wrapped up with a meaningful discussion on work-life balance. The session highlighted the importance of well-being and sustainable career growth, especially in the fast-paced world of manufacturing. Topics included setting boundaries, managing stress, and building daily habits that support both personal and professional fulfillment.

The sessions were led by Prof. Dr. Stojan Debarliev, a seasoned expert in these topics.

This kickoff session set a strong foundation for what’s to come. Participants will continue with both group and one-on-one coaching, and have ongoing access to digital resources to support their growth.
Beyond skill development, EmpoweRING M – Women in Industry aims to foster a connected and empowering community—bringing together women from different sectors and countries to learn, collaborate, and rise together.
