Webinar: Women in the digital world – inspiration and guidance for a career in STE(A)M
Within the STREAM IT project, we continue the webinar series of the National Inspirational Network – NIH, and our next webinar is titled: Women in the digital world – inspiration and guidance for a career in STE(A)M. The webinar is intended for educational and research institutions (primary, secondary, and higher education), non-governmental organizations, as well as for girls and young women interested in STE(A)M fields and the digital industry.

During the webinar, we will explore the position of women in STE(A)M and e-commerce, including the current situation, challenges, and development potential in these areas. We will present good practices and lessons learned from the digital world, with a special focus on activities and projects that encourage and motivate girls to engage and advance in these industries. Additionally, we will share inspiring stories from successful women and teams in e-commerce, which serve as motivation and a roadmap for future generations to build careers in STE(A)M.

ST(R)E(A)M IT aims to initiate change about the persisting gender inequalities in STEM education, research, and innovation to contribute to the implementation of the ‘The European Manifesto for gender-inclusive STE(A)M education and careers.’ The project aims to overcome the barriers and challenges faced by underrepresented groups in STEM. It focuses on developing innovative, gender- and diversity-inclusive tools for educating young people, particularly young girls. Additionally, the project seeks to mobilize stakeholders from various sectors of STEM education and the R&I ecosystem to create sustainable networks that provide ongoing support to STEM education providers.
